Returns & Exchange Policy

Welcome to our online store, www.hearingaidaustralia.com.au! We want you to be happy with your purchase, so we’ve created a straightforward returns and exchange policy to make things easy for you. This policy applies exclusively to purchases made through our online shop. For in-clinic purchases, please reach out to the clinic directly for assistance.

Returns & Exchanges

  • If You Received a Faulty Item:
    Within 7 Days: We want to make things right! If your product has any issues, you can send it back for a refund or exchange within 7 days of delivery.
    After 7 Days (Up to 14 Days): We’re happy to offer an exchange for any defective item after 7 days and up to 14 days from delivery. If a replacement isn’t available, we’ll provide a refund.
    o Just be sure to keep the product in its original packaging, unused, and with a proof of purchase.

  • Changed Your Mind or Ordered the Wrong Item?
    o We get it, sometimes things change. You can return items within 7 days if they’re unused and still in their original packaging. Please note, you’ll need to cover the return shipping costs.

  • What We Can’t Accept:
    o We can’t process returns if the item isn’t in its original condition, is damaged (except for defects), has missing parts, or is past the 14-day window for defective products.
    o Sales and clearance items are non-refundable and can’t be returned or exchanged, unless they
    are faulty.

Refunds

  • How Refunds Work:
    o If you’re returning a defective item within 7 days, we’ll process your refund within 5-14 business days after we receive the item. Refunds go right back to your original payment method, though bank processing times may vary.
    o For defective items returned after 7 days where a replacement isn’t available, we’ll also process a refund.
    o For change-of-mind returns, we’ll apply a small admin/restocking fee of $10 or 10% of the item’s cost, whichever is greater. Shipping costs are covered by the customer.
  • Trouble with a Refund?
    o If you haven’t seen your refund within the expected time, check with your bank or card provider first. If it’s still missing, please reach out to us at orders@earandhearing.com.au. We’re here to help!

How to Return a Product

  1. Send us an email at orders@earandhearing.com.au with your order number and why you’d like to return or exchange the item.
  2. We’ll send you the return shipping address and any other details you need.
  3. Pack the item safely, and use a trackable shipping service (especially for items over $50).
  4. Once we receive and check the item, we’ll process your refund or exchange as quickly as we can.

    You can cancel within 24 hours of placing the order. After that, standard return and exchange rules apply.

    Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving a damaged item, and we’ll arrange an exchange or refund.
